This collection, primarily comprising personnel cards, contains work histories of employees of the A. M. Byers Company. Included in the histories are the worker's name, wage rate, occupation, date of hire, length of time on the job, and reasons for leaving. Demographic information, such as date of birth, gender, marital status, race, ethnicity, place of birth, citizenship, and English language ability are also present. These histories are arranged by the worker's last name. Publications from the Metallurgy Department are also included.
